CCAP-Europe's New Report Climate Finance Works
Center for Clean Air Policy-Europe
The Center for Clean Air Policy Europe (CCAP Europe) is a non-profit organization governed by the provisions of Title I of the Belgian Act of 27 June 1921 on non-profit associations, international non-profit associations and foundations. It was established in January 2008, and is currently directed by Tomas Wyns in Brussels.
The purpose of CCAP Europe is to significantly advance cost-effective and pragmatic air quality and climate policy through research, analysis, dialogue and public education. CCAP Europe actively educates and involves a broad range of stakeholders worldwide in the formulation, promotion and adoption of such initiatives, in each case with a specific focus on Europe and other areas of the world particularly impacted by air quality and climate issues.
CCAP Europe is currently advancing its mission through the European Dialogue program. The overall objective of the European Dialogue and CCAP's European policy work is to develop climate change, energy and finance policy for the European Union. CCAP Europe will work to bring together decision-makers and stakeholders from different sectors to unify the EU around climate and energy issues and create a stronger European consensus going into the negotiations for an international agreement.
Current funders of CCAP Europe include the European Commission and the European Climate Foundation.
